J-List is a provocative, all-encompassing artist who has begun to make a name for himself in the greater Atlanta space. His unique approach to music pulls from ATL trap, EDM synth design, and introspective lyric works of Damon Albarn, Drake, and Travis Scott.      Jackson List began his run like many solo acts; with a makeshift basement studio blanketed in dust and sweat. He had learned to play the piano, guitar, and drums throughout his childhood, but around age 15 he decided to make his studio and get serious about his passion. He couldn’t go it alone and was lucky enough to have parents with storied pasts in the industry to provide guidance. They added J-List as an official feature along their 2018 fall tour stop in Athens and have served as invaluable mentors for his musical progress. In 2020, J-List released two singles “Company” and “Tutti Frutti” which have already amassed over 800,000 plays with almost zero promotion. In August, former Bachelorette and Social Media Influencer Hannah Brown posted a video to her Instagram of 2.3 million followers dancing to “Tutti Frutti” which took J-List from 5,000 monthly Spotify Listeners to 22,000 in less than a month. J-List’s music is ripe with viral potential, and this is just the beginning of the climb.
